The campaign photoshoot for the ”Tropicana Collection” was held in Athens. Can you share some highlights from that day, any memorable moments?
The setting for the jewelry campaign photoshoot for the "Tropicana Collection" was nothing short of stunning. We shot it at the very beggining of summer on a beautiful sunny day, I just remember the warm sun and this amazing golden glow over the city, providing the perfect backdrop for all the amazing jewels. Athens is such a vibrant, energetic city and somewhere that is so special to me. I had just recently moved to Athens to embark on a new chapter of my life and this was one of my first campaigns that I shot on the streets of Athens. There were so many amazing moments, we had an incredible team and we worked seamlessly together, we ate souvlaki on the street for lunch, an older man handed me flowers for one of our photos. There was a lot of love and interactions with the people on the streets and I just remember having so much fun!
Your top 3 favorite pieces from the new collection?
It’s so difficult to choose because I love so many pieces, but if I had to choose: The Calanthe Necklace & Bracelet / Tropicana Combo, Rafaela Earrings / Crystal, Bonnie Earrings / Lime Combo.
If you had to pick one word to describe the Tropicana Collection, what would it be, and why?
Vibrant. The collection is full of life, color and sparkles!
How would you style our new pieces for a Sunday brunch, a dinner with friends, or a festive night out?
The versatility of Caroline Svedbom jewelry is wonderful—it can be dressed up for a more formal occasion or dressed down for a casual look. I personally love sparkly things, so for me it goes from a touch of sparkle for more casual outings and then for dressier occasions it becomes a situation of “more is more!”
For a Sunday brunch for example I would pair a simple necklace and bracelet, such as the Calanthe necklace and Bracelet with a simple earring like the Super Petite Drop Earring paired with a casual outfit.
For more of a dressy occasion I like to go all out with the jewelry, I’m a big fan of a statement earring so I would probably choose the Ciara earring, paired with the Livia necklace and bracelet and also add a stack of the petite drop bracelets in gold with a few different colored stones.
What do you think differs Caroline Svedbom Jewelry from other jewelry brands?
The thing I love about Caroline Svedbom Jewelry is that there is really something for every occasion! I wear her pieces during the day when I am running around to meetings or going for a casual lunch, but then she also has these really beautiful intricate statement pieces. I also love that they are handmade here in Greece, the quality is amazing.
